I have over 14 years of experience both as a professional musician and teacher. I have taught all ages and abilities. So whether it's your first lesson, coaching to further your playing as a professional, or absolutely anything in between, please do get in contact.

As well has having taught in a university and schools, I have taken private students from grade 1 to achieving a Distinction at grade 8, and onto further education. Helped new adult learners start from scratch to playing at local open mic nights.

You can either choose a topic you'd like to learn about, songs you'd like to learn and I'll happily tailor lessons towards whatever you'd like to know more about. I'm also happy to work together to come up with a plan to further areas of your playing you'd like to improve.

Our goal will be to get you using whatever we've worked on as quickly as possible in your own playing, taking the fastest and most practical approach.

There will also often be customised print outs and worksheets explaining things we've looked at with useful exercises. I'll provide lesson notes by email detailing what we've covered and tips/advice on what to work on in your own practice. These will serve as memory refreshers for your private practise, with a portfolio and repertoire of songs and ideas.

Ideas for topics can range from:
