I started playing at age 13 and did my first pub gig playing rock covers at age 15. In my late teens I studied for a year at Tech Music School (now BIMM) in London.

After this I started taking gigs in as many places as possible, function bands, party bands, jazz bands, accompanying singers, studying with top players as much as possible and trying to get experience wherever I could. It was also during this time that I began teaching students off all ages.

I went on to study Jazz in London to broaden my musical knowledge.

Since graduating I've made a living exclusively as a professional player. I've worked in studios, The West End, Concert Halls, Arenas both in the UK and abroad. 

Worked with pop artists such as KT Tunstall and Ben Adams. Also on Tours/shows such as The Rocky Horror Show, Mamma Mia - Tour and West End, A Night with Janis Joplin, Heathers, Tom Fletcher's The Creakers, Flashdance, Rent, 9to5, Bring it On, West End Live, Summer Holiday, Greatest Days and Cabaret, as well as numerous sessions and recordings, including broadcasts on television, BBC Radio 2, and playing film soundtracks with an orchestra.
